Once I understood that, everything changed for me. And I want to help you feel the same relief and confidence in your skin.

 

Is This Rosacea? Let’s Talk About It Gently.

 

You might be wondering: “Is this rosacea?” And the honest answer is — it could be, but it doesn’t have to be.

Many people with persistent redness, visible capillaries and sensitive skin fall into what dermatologists call rosacea-prone or redness-prone skin. These symptoms are often linked to a weakened skin barrier and increased vascular sensitivity.

Only a dermatologist can confirm a diagnosis of rosacea. But here’s the important part: the daily care approach is the same.

Whether your skin is diagnosed as rosacea, rosacea-prone, or simply very sensitive, it’s asking for the same thing, less irritation, more barrier support, and gentle consistency.

Labels matter less than listening to your skin. Redness is not something to fight, it’s something to understand and care for kindly.

I Can Help You… But First, Follow These Rules Below...

 

Daily Care for Red, Sensitive Skin

 

Less is more.

Always.

 

Morning

  • Cleanse: Use lukewarm water. That’s it. Your skin should already be makeup-free from your evening routine, so there’s no need to over-cleanse in the morning.
  • Moisturise: Keep it simple. Choose products that support your skin barrier, with glycerin, squalane, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, or niacinamide.

From my range, I recommend My First Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer. It has glycerin, panthenol and hyaluronic acid, plus shea butter and calming oils. Fragrance-free, dermatologist-tested, and designed to hydrate, calm, and protect. Perfect for skin that needs support and love <3. 

  • Extra soothing: If your skin is dry or irritated, add 1–2 drops of Floral Bisabolol Face Oil on your cheeks. It’s a gentle blend of calming oils with chamomile and bisabolol, proven to soothe sensitive skin.
  • Sun protection: Especially if you’re spending time outdoors, use a mineral SPF with zinc oxide. It’s gentle, protects redness-prone skin, and helps prevent further capillary damage.
  • Makeup: Eye makeup is usually fine.

If you want foundation or cheek makeup, choose lightweight mineral powders or foundations.

Give your skin at least one makeup-free day per week.

Avoid heavy, fragranced, or long-wear formulas.

Apply gently, rubbing can worsen redness.

 

Evening

  • Cleanse: Water.  

If you wear makeup (foundation or tinted products), use a very gentle cleanser — no foaming, no stripping.

And here’s the important part: give your skin a break. It needs

REST! 

If you can, take a few no-makeup days each week. Let your skin breathe!

 

 

What to Use Less (or Only Occasionally)

  • Exfoliating acids
  • Retinol / Vitamin A products
  • Harsh cleansers or scrubs
  • Heavy or extensive makeup

Use these sparingly and never when your skin feels red, tight, or reactive.

 

One Important Thing to Know

Broken capillaries won’t disappear overnight.

Just like healing or weight loss, your skin needs time to rebuild strength. No cream will magically solve it for everyone.
